Our third growing season has officially begun! We have over 3,000 plants started that we'll be transplanting out in the early Spring sun over the next three weeks. Beets, parsley, lettuce and carrots. I can't wait for the first bite. We are well-rested and excited to see our friends that walk by the plot to watch the garden grow. Look for more of our products at Open Harvest starting in May.
Hello all - we have been incredibly hard at work since this whole adventure started last year~ since time indoors is always rare as a gardener in the summer, I thought I'd share our work with you with images... I can't believe the transformation of the space. We are working hard everyday to not only grow food, but also to provide an ecosystem of diverse and native plants. We seeded with an insectary mix on the east side, planted joe pye weed, big bluestem, and yarrow as well. More blogs in the future I hope.
